Crafted in Portugal with 100% premium long staple combed cotton, our lustrous and soft sateen sheets will make you late for work. Every. Day. These incredibly soft sheets get softer with every wash. Riley Sateen Pillowcases are designed with side-envelope closures to create a seamless look. Complete the look with Riley’s Sateen Flat Sheet and Sateen Fitted Sheet, which complement all of Riley’s Duvet Covers and Shams.

Description

Woven with 100% cotton, these sheets feature a super soft sateen weave that gets even softer with every wash. The sateen construction creates a sumptuous, lustrous sheen.

As a special touch, we added a dainty, color-on-color baratta stitch on our pillowcases to show you a little extra love.

Our pillowcases also feature a side-envelope closure that stays hidden from view, so the opening to your pillow will always be our little secret.

Our bedding is Certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® #18.HUS.35124 by Hohenstein – which means our source materials are tested for harmful chemicals and substances. We adhere to the highest standards to protect you and the environment.

    Sateen or Silk?. The sateen pillow cases have a wonderful almost silk like feel rather than the slippery feel of other brand sateen. The inside pocket for the end of the pillow is a great feature. I've only had them for maybe two weeks, washed as directed twice, but they are a delight to sleep on. I've given them only 4 stars since I would like to see how they hold up after multiple washes. Portuguese cotton is the best so I have no worries.

    Drapes beautifully. These pillowcases are by no means thin or flimsy. If you are not accustomed to fabric with a feel like this, your perception may at first be it is a bit stiff. It isn't. This fabric drapes beautifully. The pillowcases are smooth and soft.

    Crinkliness. These come of out of the dryer with a slight bit of crinkliness, but that's gone when you fold them. They smooth out easily and do not require ironing. You should wash them separately first, but I have never had a problem with colorfastness.

    Much more than Navy. This Sateen Pillowcase Pair looked beautiful on the web, but to call the color Navy is quite inadequate. The color is more midnight and the design of the Baratta stitch is a wonderful finishing feature.

    Love My Riley Sateen Pillowcases. Love my Sateen Pillowcases. Ordered both Standard and King sizes since I like to load up on pillows. They're beautifully sewn, properly sized, and have an optional foldover flap to keep pillows in place. The Sateen is a soft, mid weight fabric that will last me for years. It actually looks and feels more like an upscale Percale to me. Exactly like their Facebook photos. It doesn't have the high sheen, wrinkle free, super soft feel I associate with Sateen. Nonetheless, the fabric quality is luxurious and feels wonderful on the skin. exactly what I was hoping for. Very happy!

    Sateen or percale?. In order to try out the sateen sheet material, I purchased a couple of pillowcases. I did expect them to be smoother and softer, but perhaps that will improve with more wash cycles. On the plus side, they do not wrinkle as much as the percale. When I am ready to purchase sheets, the sateen will be my choice.

    Riley's Jade color does not disappoint!. In the movie Gosford Park, Maggie Smith looks at Mabel Nesbitt's dress and comments snidely, "Green can be such a difficult color." She's right: too much yellow, it's insipid; too much black, it's muddy, and when something claims to be Jade, you can only hope for the best. Riley's Jade color does not disappoint! There's just enough blue balance to make the green glow like a gem. It's truly beautiful. The pillowcases are very well-crafted, with a generous envelope closure to keep the pillows nice and tidy and unwrinkled through the night.

    Digging the stripes!. These are really nice pillow cases. I love the blue w the gray pinstripe. It’s such a unique yet classic look. The quality is obvious as soon as you touch the material. As I have other Riley bedding, I know it only gets softer and more welcoming as it breaks in.
