Woven with 100% cotton, these sheets feature a percale weave that makes them feel cool and crisp. The percale construction also has a modern, matte coloring.

As a special touch, we added a dainty, color-on-color baratta stitch to show you a little extra love.

Our pillowcases also feature a side-envelope closure that stays hidden from view, so the opening to your pillow will always be our little secret.

    Lovely, but needs to be ironed. Lovely pillowcases and sheets. Thistle is a gorgeously calm color. Pillowcases do need to be ironed (even straight out if the dryer) unless you like the wrinkled look. I love my new linens.

    Wonderful platinum grey color. Crisp and cool. Only problem is they don't cover my pillows entirely. I use "standard" size pillows but they are pretty fluffy and so the pillow cases leave about 4" of pillow sticking out. If you have larger fluffier pillows go for the king sized cases.

    There's nothing like percale. If you're a fan of percale sheets as I am, you'll like these. It just feels like fine fabric. I took off a star for two reasons: the fancy stitching at the hem is only on one side so if you're a pillow-flipper you will have the unembellished side up half the time, and the hems wrinkle a bit. Not enough for me to actually take out the iron, but smoothing the hems with your hands only does so much.

    Very comfortable, crisp sheets! I washed them 5 times before using them and they were really quite perfect. They do wrinkle a bit at the edges, particularly the pillow cases, but "hand ironing" the pillow cases before putting them in the dryer helps. And anyway, who cares if they are wrinkled when they're just so comfortable!

    Sleeping cooler, but wrinkled. I really like the feel of the bedding and how cool they are to sleep in. The only concern I have is how easily they wrinkle. I grab them out of the dryer immediately and they’re already wrinkled.

    The coolest. Exactly what I expected. They are quality sheets. I had been looking for a luxe feeling percale after my old sheets by a different brand were discontinued. I tried other high end brands from Snowe, Frette and DWR. These are the coolest feeling and softest percale compared to those other three brands. FYI they are rather wrinkly after the dryer but that to me is negligible to how good they feel. So good I’m about to buy a second set.

    i was transported into a fancy hotel! the pockets are *just* deep enough for my mattress plus a 2 inch topper, so if you have a particularly thick topper of mattress, just a heads up. similarly, the top sheet is *just* wide enough to get over the edges, but not wide enough to tuck in on both sides. the pillowcases are king size, but they tuck in nicely for regular sized pillows. balance.

I will never do that again. The Percale is a really different experience than what I have had before. Taking it out of the package, I at first thought it was a little bit stiff, but after putting it on my bed, my whole life has changed. They are so soft, and cool. Moreover, they feel really nice against my skin. I am not even sure how to explain this, but after sleeping with these sheets it's become clear to mean that sheets I have previously owned may have had some type of coating on them and the Riley sheets just feel like really luxurious cotton directly on my skin! They are crisp and cool and wash up very well. I will say they wrinkle quite a bit so drying them with dryer balls and removing them from the dryer quickly seems to help with this a lot. I also like that they are tagged with “top/bottom, side” so you immediately know which way to put them on. The pockets to keep the pillow inside the pillowcase is great too! They fit our deep mattress very well. Well worth the buy in my opinion.

    Great sheets, awful packaging. I live in FL, and have always used sateen sheets because I usually find percale too scratchy. The AC in the house I currently live in isn't great though and I was waking up several times a night hot, so I caved and bought these and they have massively improved my sleep quality. They're obviously not as soft as sateen but they're the softest percale I've ever felt. I wish the sheet was a bit wider and that they wrinkled less but it's totally worth it for a good night's sleep. I absolutely HATED the packaging though. The fancy vinyl sleeves are so bad for the environment and the vinyl offgassing smell gave me an instant headache. Your product is amazing but please improve your packaging!

I pursue percale high and low because it's the only type of sheet fabric that's cool-ish for sleeping, which especially matters with pillowcases. (Nothing is perfect, unfortunately.) I would never have found Riley were it not for the New York Time's Wirecutter service. The pillowcases fit our pillows perfectly, the green color is so bright, and they wash well. While the pillowcases aren't no-iron, they're very close. I'll buy more. And, do I dare say that I LOVE that I haven't been pestered with a daily e-mail to buy something more?

    Perfect percale. These sheets are so nice. Similar to Parachute’s percale sheets. So soft but cool. They do get a bit wrinkley but that’s just the nature of percale. Highly recommend. Wash beautifully.

Currently though battling with a darkening of color in the places where our heads and faces rest. We don't use any unusual facial/hair products, and trying to see if adjusting how we wash them will help. Maybe a hotter water temperature would help…
    I assume lighter colors don't suffer this fate as much. We got the Deep Lagoon, which is quite dark.

    Crisp and soft . . . is that possible?. I have been a fan of high quality sheets for a decade, going from brand to brand in search of the best set. Organic cotton percale was beautifully crisp, but felt a little rough against the skin. A top Insta-brand was soft and supple, but had poor colors and faded instantly.

    And then came Riley (via NY Times Wirecutter). Is it possible? These sheets are silky soft to slide into at night, and after washing make right up into tight corners and smooth turn-downs. Crisp and soft – literally everything I've been looking for.

    I'll be curious to see how they wear over time, but at the moment, it'll be Riley bedding from now on.

The NYT has a review section and they believe Riley provide the best sheets and Duvet covers possible so I forked out 280 $ for what I believe is a good product but it’s definitely not better or justifies the cost. In my opinion Costco is as good for 30% of the costs. Would I buy it again? Nope.

    Still waiting for expected wonderfulness. I purchased a queen sheet set as well as the pillowcases to go with it. I’m sorry to say I was disappointed. As soon as I laundered the sheets they were wrinkled and crinkly feeling. The pillowcases came out all bunched up and wrinkled and looked awful. I know I could iron these sheets and pillow cases, but I don’t want to. So far I have washed them twice and the expected softness has not arrived. These were pretty pricey sheets so I was quite sad to think that I have a better result from $70 Costco sheet sets. I will reserve final judgment in the Riley set until I have washed them a few more times.

    Prefer the traditional hemmed pillowcase. This is the pocket type and I was not aware when I made the purchase. The actual percale is classic crisp, fine, and very wrinkled after laundering. I actually like this.

    Sheets Are Great After I've Spent an Hour Ironing Them. These are some of the nicest sheets I've purchased, but they come out of the washer feeling like thin wet leather. They feel much better after they've dried, but are so wrinkled, I have to iron them before I put them on the bed. Riley suggested that I put them on the bed when they are 75% dry or use a scented spray to remove the wrinkles. NO THANKS!

    Highly recommend. Just wish there were more color or pattern options but these sheets are otherwise perfect!! They actually fit my deep mattress nicely and the pillow cases which looked kinda small also fit my oversized standard pillows. The way they tuck the pillow in so they don’t fall out is a total plus! One more thing on my wishlist for them would be a tag on the fitted sheet noting top or side so far I’ve only seen the cheapo Target sheets do this but it’s definitely a headache saver when trying to make the bed. I’ll definitely be ordering bc another set!

    5 star material but 3 star length. It’s the best percale material I’ve tried — including more expensive brands — but it’s too short by nearly 2 inches for my taste. I use Riley sheets, but buy LLBean pillow cases (also wonderful, but not as light as Riley, but the perfect length). I make sure the zipper cover on pillow is always on the open end of the case. I want enough drape of material so I never feel the zipper or the inside of the pillow. It would be 5 stars were it longer or available in a longer length.

    Soft and comfy but sometimes slip off pillows. Same great comfort as the other percale bedding items. Only complaint is one of the 4 cases sometimes slips off
    my pillow while I’m sleeping. Adding a pair of buttons to secure the opening or moving the opening elsewhere maybe will solve the problem?
