All Riley duvet covers have ties sewn into the corners that attach to the loops on our comforters so your comforter doesn’t slide around inside your duvet cover.
Button closures at the end of the duvet cover securely contains your comforter inside, while allowing for easy removal for washing.

Wonderful Duvet Cover. I wanted a single-ply, 400TC long staple percale duvet in plain white. I was thrilled to see Riley add this to their product list. I also pleased with its generous size as well, it drapes over our King perfectly. It washes nicely on delicate setting with low spin. Although it comes out of the washer feeling quite rough, once dry it is soft as expected. I use the delicate drier setting for 19 minutes then complete on air dry setting, removing while it is still damp. It is 100% cotton percale, so yes, it does wrinkle a bit. I smooth it out and once the duvet is inserted, it is fine – does not look overly wrinkled nor is it shabby chic. It is just right. The reason for not giving it a five star is because the inside seam stitching has a lot of long loose threads. For the price, this duvet is one of the best values I found – do not make too much of my "stitching" issue. I just feel a five star would be a beautifully sewn duvet. Craftsmanship deserves a star, this one would certainly be more expensive had crafters been more tailored.

Great duvet cover. This review is for the white percale duvet cover in the king size. I purchased this to go with my Riley goose down comforter, and they go together perfectly. I have only washed it one time, and it came out pretty wrinkly, but it doesn't really bother me. The wrinkles flatten out a bit over time, and the duvet still looks great draped over the bed. I am interested in seeing how it holds up wash after wash, but so far, the fabric is soft but crisp, and I like the ties at the corners that hold my duvet in place. Plan to purchase sheets next.

Wonderfully Soft Percale. This is a beautiful percale cotton. I wanted a single ply plain percale duvet and found this to be the perfect thread count. The fabric is soft and lightweight without being see-through. The interior has four corner ties and a button closure which makes it very easy to use. I wash and dry my duvet on delicate cycles. When it comes out of the washer, the fabric feels quite stiff. Once dried, the fabric returns to total softness. Percale does wrinkle, yet it lays flat and smooths out beautifully. I will purchase another color just for a change. This is a very good value duvet. There are some loose threads on the inside seam finishing, only reason I deducted a star.

I have the extra warm queen comforter and I think the extra filling may have caused it to shrink in width causing this cover to be somewhat wider than the duvet cover. crisp and cool cotton. wrinkles a lot at first. initially, i absolutely loved this cover out of the box. the feel of the cotton was smooth like a luxe cotton dress shirt. then after the first wash before use i was horrified. the wrinkles were ghastly. i looked at the cover on my bed and thought it was utter bilge. i expected wrinkles, its cotton, but this was rubbish. absolute rubbish i thought. there is no way im going to iron this large thing every week. well, im glad i stuck w it. after a month of use i love it. it really is the crisp cotton and cool to the touch cover i wanted. i love the slight crinkley noise it makes. when i touch my hand on either side its nice and cool. it still wrinkles quite a bit but over time it gets better, at least not as wrinkled that it bothers me as much.

Fantastic quality. I was very hesitant about the bed sheets I wanted to buy for my bedroom as I wanted superior quality cotton sheets that washed well. I can't speak on the longevity of the sheets as I have only had them for a month but they are doing great so far. Soft but not too soft (which is how I like it – otherwise it feels hot and synthetic) and keeps me cool. I love the little ties in the internal corners so you can hook your comforter inside. Will be buying a couple more sets if this one keeps it up.

The duvet cover is totally worth it. I cannot afford a down comforter or even an alternative down comforter; still, the percale cottony feel is so high quality, it can turn a $30 synthetic comforter into a natural-feeling cloud in heaven (yes, a cliche in the duvet world yet true in this case!). Not sure Riley wants to hear this or not–but combining the duvet cover with the percale sheet set and their alternative down pillow is as awesome a bedding set as I could ever long for (and way better than what my ex-wife used to get for us.)

Great cover runs a bit large. The cover is amazing. I have the king sized one and so far it’s been great. The quality is superb and is very durable. I have the goose duvet in king as well and notice the cover runs a bit longer than the duvet. It’s very minor but you will see a few inches of extra cover on all sides. But the fabric is great and I still wouldn’t change them for anything else.

The best thing about this cover is that it is large so fits the entire bed with exactly the right amount of hang over. Very comfortable, sewn in ties fall off. I purchased this about 6 months ago, and this duvet cover is very comfortable. The only gripe is that the ties that are sewn on the inside to attach to the comforter were poorly attached, and one of them has already been pulled off. Comforter Strap tore off after less than 10 washes – Terrible customer service. Purchased in October of 2021 and was excited to use this product as it was recommended by WIRECUTTER.
Washed the duvet cover around 10 times and one of the straps to secure the comforter broke off. Reached out to customer service and was told since it was after 60 days I was not eligible for a return or refund.
For a relatively new company, pretty bad customer service and one that does not stand behind their products. Trust me in saying that I will not be buying one of their products again nor will I be recommending them to anyone else.

Solid Riley Home Percale. Was never a flat sheet person, so I felt like this duvet cover was an investment into the Riley Home Percale bedding experience. Teamed with my Riley percale pillowcases, fitted sheet, and down duvet insert all in white, my bed is truly a cloudy, dreamy place to be! I love the sound and feel of the crisp duvet on my skin! Gotcha Covered. Riley has you covered with their just right cotton coverlet. It’s practically a magic blanket. It stays tucked in at the foot of the bed. It’s perfect if you forgo a top sheet and sleep with a duvet and become too warm. The coverlet washes beautifully, dries quickly on low in about 20 minutes and comes in scrumptious colors. Two things set the Riley duvet cover apart from others in the same price point: the length of the ties and the lovely envelope button closure. Plus the color choices are delicious.

Any color would be a good choice!. The interesting thing about the Mushroom color in both the duvet cover and sheets is that the color is complex: it changes with the light from dark to light, from green-brown overtones to pink undertones. While at first I thought the color was too dark, the changes in light opened up numerous possibilities for color-matching. Of course, color is simply a choice. The reality is, any color of these duvet covers would be an excellent choice due to the quality of the percale.

This is my 6th duvet cover (with matching pillow cases) and I now have the loveliest palette of colors to match my moods and assorted sheets. Clearly, someone with a most “painterly” eye has selected the colors and tones of each seasons’ collection, they are so harmonious with each other. But that is only half the story, for they are equalled by the excellence of the material itself: smooth, breathable and soft on the skin. This percale duvet cover does its job by letting the duvet insert do its job – temperature regulating – without added weight. Having experimented with other sheet brands, I always come back to Riley.

The NYT has a review section and they believe Riley provide the best sheets and Duvet covers possible so I forked out 280 $ for what I believe is a good product but it’s definitely not better or justifies the cost. In my opinion Costco is as good for 30% of the costs. Would I buy it again? Nope.

Great stuff. Better than the other percale duvet covers at this price point. It's percale so don't expect cashmere but it's softer than others and cooler.
Small nitpick is the four sides of the cover never feel perfect if you know what I mean. Hard to find the seam and the duvet cover-er at the buttons probably needs to be ironed or will look sloppy (I will iron it after my next wash)
But, I mean, grab it. It's great.

Amazing. Until buying this duvet cover, for many years I had purchased from a competitor whose quality slowly deteriorated. Now that I have a Riley cover, I sleep in all-Riley bedding. It’s amazing! This cover is soft, cool, and the button closure hasn’t opened once. Granted I’ve only had this for 1 month. Warning: you’ll find it nearly impossible to get out of bed because this is amazingly comfortable.

The percale duvet cover is fabulous for using your duvet in warm weather. While I still needed to forgo the duvet during the hottest part of the season, it's a significant improvement over heavier covers. The material is buttery smooth (even before multiple washes).
