Description

The Alternative Down is made of 100% Hypoallergenic microfiber which recreates the fluffy feeling of natural down. The casing is made with 100% cotton percale.

Just for fun, we even embroidered a playful little “R” onto one of the corners. We also sewed in loops to attach to our duvet cover ties so your comforter doesn’t slide around inside your Riley duvet covers.

We offer 2 levels of warmth: All-Season and  Extra Warm.

    thick fluffy goodness. I wanted a thick, fluffy comforter that I could get lost in and this thing is perfect. A little on the heavyweight side, which is what I wanted, but it's still airy and only caused me to wake up sweating one time.

    Great Duvet!. This duvet is excellent! It is light but still so warm, and comfortable. I especially love the tabs on each corner to tie my duvet covers to. I would definitely recommend this duvet!

    Always soft keeps warm. This comforter is incredibly easy to clean and dry. If damp, I leave it laid out on my bed, turn on the fan by my bed and BOOM it's ready. It is always soft it keeps me warm

    Not Pottery Barn!. So good, my husband didn't realize it wasn't Pottery Barn! We normally buy all our comforters and duvet covers from Pottery Barn. I decided to take a chance on this one. It's absolutely amazing. Just as good as the one we bought from Pottery Barn!

    Felt great!. After ordering and unpacking this comforter I was impressed at the initial quality and how soft it was, there was no smell and it looked very nice. The weight at first made me nervous since it does not feel very light, however after sleeping with it, it felt great, breathes very well, and seems to fit the bill for a great comforter, and I think it will actually be quite good.

    Down alternative comforter. So very fluffy! We love it. Its very warm but breathable. The only thing we've had to get used to is the sound…its quite loud, but this is a very small con compared to the amount of loft there is.

    Down Alternative Comforter. Love it! Perfect size for a King bed – hangs over the side to cover mattress – just right for air conditioned nights in FL, well made and crisp and fresh. I WISH there had been some washing instructions include on the web site. It can be washed, but is essentially too big for most home washing machines. My only complaint!

The fill is the perfect amount it is quite soft and light and a great substitute for the down without all the dust and feathers.     Cozy and cruelty free. I'm happy with this duvet, it is warm and has a good weight to it. Not over the top fluffy, not skimpy. Goldilocks. Climbing into bed the first night I noticed it made some crinkly noises (possibly from the lining?). One month in and that's still happening, but no joke I just had to walk back in and check while writing this review because I don't notice it anymore. Sleeping is a dream!

    Buy and buy again. We purchased the standard, firm pillows. This is the comfiest pillow my husband and I have ever owned. It supports your head and neck comfortably, and feels very fluffy and cloud-like. The weight distribution is perfect and even. When we try other pillows, it’s noticeable how our quality of sleep goes down.
    We’ve been using it for over a year now and we love it so much that we’re purchasing king size versions for our new bed! Our guests have been able to enjoy the standard size and they love the pillows as much as we do.

    Love this comforter! The swoosh noise doesn’t bug me but might bug others. I suggest a lightweight duvet to counter the noise. I’m thinking about Riley’s percale duvet in Cloud. This comforter is perfect lightweight for warmer regions or peeps run hotter than most.

    This is a great comforter and very warm. Not as light as I thought it was going to be and my complaint is it makes a lot of noise. Like plastic or rough paper being ruffled. Most likely because of being synthetic vs down.

    Not comparable to the down comforter. I bought this down alternative comforter for our guest bedroom. I already own the down comforter and love how “fluffy” and warm it is. This comforter, however, seems “stiff”. It is a pricey comforter I didn’t find it worth the investment. I would rather buy the down comforter instead.

    Just okay. The comforter is okay but it wasn’t what I expected. I got the highest fill power (extra warm) & the comforter was very thin. If you’re expecting a cloud like comforter this isn’t it !

But from the reviews I read before ordering it sounds like a 5 rating in each category. Our son had a Riley comforter for several years for his queen bed and loved it.
